1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device. It lets the site remember things between page loads and between visits — that you are logged in, what is in your cart, which language you chose.
We also use related technologies that work the same way, including pixels, local storage and similar identifiers. Everything in this policy applies to those too.
2. Why we use them
Juju's Protein Snacks runs on Shopify. Some cookies are simply required for a store to function — without them your cart would empty between pages and checkout would not work. Others help us understand what people look at, so we can make the store better, or measure whether our advertising is worth the spend.
3. The cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These keep the store working. They cannot be switched off through our store.

Analytics and performance
These tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and where they leave. We use it in aggregate — we are not trying to identify you personally.

Marketing
These let us show relevant ads and see whether they led to an order. They are only set where you have accepted marketing cookies.

Cookie names and lifespans are set by Shopify and our third-party providers and can change without notice. The table above is a good-faith description rather than an exhaustive list. To see exactly what is on your device right now, open your browser's developer tools and look under Storage or Application.
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by companies other than us, because we use their services to run the store:
- Shopify — store platform, cart and checkout.
- Payment providers — including Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and card networks, for fraud prevention and to complete payment.
- Analytics providers — to measure store traffic.
- Advertising and social platforms — where we run campaigns.
These companies set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. We do not control them, and we recommend reading their policies if you want the full picture.
5. Your choices
Where a cookie banner is shown, you can accept or refuse non-essential cookies and change your mind at any time by reopening the banner or your cookie preferences from the store footer.
Refusing analytics and marketing cookies will not stop you shopping. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be refused, because the cart and checkout will not function without them.
6. Browser controls
You can block or delete cookies directly in your browser. Blocking all cookies will break the cart and checkout on most online stores, including ours.

Most browsers also offer a private or incognito mode that discards cookies when you close the window.
7. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is still no agreed industry standard for how a website should respond to it, so our store does not currently change its behaviour when it receives one.
8. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our cookie use changes or when the law requires it. The revised version applies from the date shown at the top of this page.
